Service Center

The Service Center lets you publish your wiki articles and make them available to your own customers through a streamlined, standalone interface.

What the Service Center Contains

The Service Center is a stripped-down version of the Unusual Suite application with two tabs:

  • Wiki — displays your published content in the same style as the Unusual Suite help guide. If a wiki article contains an external link, the content opens in a new browser tab.
  • Power-Chat — lets users ask questions about your published content. Clicking a reference opens the content in a new tab. If the referenced wiki article has an external link, a new browser tab opens to that page instead.

How Access Works

No sign-up is required to use the Service Center. It operates with an anonymous connection using a dedicated 'anonymous' user that is added automatically to the database.

White-Label and Configure the Service Center

You can customise the product name and logo shown in the Service Center. Go to 'My Account' in the top right ⟶ 'More tools' ⟶ 'Configure service center'.

The configuration dialog also includes an option to open the Service Center when a user clicks a reference link in an AI-generated ticket response. This encourages customers to use the Service Center for future questions before raising a new support ticket.

Control the Wiki Tab Visibility

The configuration dialog includes an option to show or hide the 'Wiki' tab. If 'Show wiki tab' is unchecked and a user clicks a reference in Power-Chat, Unusual Suite checks whether the referenced wiki article has an 'External link' property set. If it does, that web page opens in a new browser tab.
