The text editor appears throughout Unusual Suite wherever you write or edit content — including emails, wiki articles, notes, comments, and descriptions for projects or activities.
Use the toolbar at the top of the editor to apply formatting:
Hover over any toolbar icon to see its tooltip for further guidance.
Click the 'Process text' icon in the toolbar to improve your text instantly using one of these modes:
These enhancement modes are available in both the standard editor and the email editor.
You can translate your content into another language directly within the editor. Supported languages are:
Click the 'Insert table' icon in the toolbar to insert a table at the cursor position. Once your cursor is inside a table cell, additional icons appear in the toolbar to add or remove columns and rows.
Use copy and paste to insert an image. On Windows, press Ctrl+V to paste an image at the current cursor position.
In emails and wiki articles: the image is inserted at full size. To resize it, hover over the right edge of the image until the pointer changes, then click and drag to your desired width. The aspect ratio is maintained automatically.
In notes, descriptions, and similar fields: a thumbnail is inserted at the cursor position. Clicking the thumbnail opens the image at full size. This thumbnail behaviour relies on JavaScript, which is not always available in external email clients or wiki viewers — in those contexts the image appears at full size instead.
You can link directly to any Unusual Suite record from within the editor. Type @ and then select the record type and the specific record you want to reference. Read more about Power-Links.
The editor supports these shortcuts for commonly used characters:
Click the 'Code' icon in the toolbar to switch between the visual editor and a plain-text HTML code view. In code view you can edit the underlying HTML directly. Click the icon again to return to the styled visual view.
HTML content in code view is limited to a maximum length of 1 MB.
