Power-Links let you reference data records directly inside text in the text editor. They work in both editable and read-only text.
While editing text — for example, in a note on a project — type the '@' character. A dialog opens where you choose the data type you want to link.
Start typing the record's name to search for it, then press 'Enter' to insert the Power-Link. A button appears in the text; clicking it opens the referenced record.
Power-Links can reference contacts, documents, issues, emails, organizations, projects, tickets, users, and wiki articles.
Text that's exposed outside Unusual Suite — such as emails, email templates, or email signatures — doesn't support Power-Links. Recipients outside the system wouldn't have the entitlements to view the linked record.
If you click a Power-Link and the referenced record has been deleted, or you don't have the entitlements to view it, an error message appears.
When you save text that contains a Power-Link referencing a user — and that user wasn't referenced in the previous version — they receive a notification in the dashboard and an email notification.
Email notifications are only sent if there's an active email account with 'SMTP default account' enabled.
