How do I set up a custom email signature?

You can add or edit your email signature when configuring an email account.

Step 1: Open email account settings

  1. Go to the Configuration module.
  2. Click 'Email Accounts' in the top-left corner.
  3. Select an existing account or create a new one.

Step 2: Add your signature

You can set up two versions of your signature: an HTML signature for rich formatting, and a plain text signature for plain text email replies or forwards.

Option A: Basic HTML email signature

Use the built-in HTML editor to design your signature. All standard editor features are available.

Option B: Advanced HTML email signature

If your company uses a custom design or branding, you can insert raw HTML directly.

  1. Click the 'Code' icon in the editor toolbar to switch to HTML view.
  2. You'll see a required container element like <div class="ql-container"> ... </div>. This container is part of the Quill editor engine used by Unusual Suite. Do not remove or modify it.
  3. Paste your custom HTML after this container.
  4. Click 'Code' again to switch back to normal view.
  5. Review your signature and click the 'Save' icon in the top-right corner.

Plain text signature

For plain text emails (replies or forwards), add a text-only version of your signature in the provided box.
